报告摘要：

Placed in the context of Greenfield's theory of social change and human development, four studies on technology and human development from age nine through emerging adulthood will be presented. The first two studies relate to the implications of technologically mediated communication for intimacy, values, and behavior. The last two studies relate to the implications of "likes" on a photo-sharing social network for behavior and the brain. Throughout emphasis will be on psychological costs, although some benefits will also be addressed.
